About the role
The Team Leader of the Child and Youth Assessment and Treatmentwill lead the operations of the expanded and dynamic service inCentral Australia, and first in the Northern Territory. The serviceresponds to the demands of providing children and young people withsuspected neurodevelopmental vulnerability access to assessment,treatment, management, and supported access to the NationalDisability Insurance Scheme through a multidisciplinary team.
To be considered for this position, you willrequire:
* Degree in Social Work and eligible for membership of theAustralian Association of Social Workers, Psychology or relatedHealth discipline, with eligibility of relevant AustralianAssociation Membership.
* Experience in management and supervising.
* Experience and skills in providing clinical case managementsupport to vulnerable families that is child focused, familycentered and trauma-informed.
* Knowledge of child development, as well as neurodevelopmentaldisorders including FASD, ASD and Global DevelopmentDisorders.
