About the opportunity
Key Venues oversees our aquatic and leisure centres, providing top-notch activities and promoting Blacktown City as a leader in sport, recreation, and leisure.
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our Aqua Learn to Swim team, who share a passion for swimming and water safety. Our team delivers an award-winning program, catering to over 7,000 students across five aquatic venues.
The role involves delivering our Learn to Swim Program, providing exceptional customer service, time management, and promoting water safety to our diverse community members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver an award-winning learn to swim program for over 7,000 students
* Provide consistent and exceptional customer services
* Manage class programming and meet program outcomes
* Promote the importance of swimming and water safety
Qualifications and Experience:
* AUSTSWIM, Swim Australia, or Royal Life Saving certification
* Current CPR Certificate
* Working with Children Check
* Pool Lifeguard Award
* Coaching/teaching experience
* Knowledge of applicable legislation/regulations
Remuneration and Benefits:
* $30.44 per hour plus 25% casual loading
* Penalty rates apply for weekend shifts
