Pharmacy Hobart Full Time Epic Pharmacy
The opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist to join our dynamic, supportive and success-driven team at Epic Pharmacy New Town, in Hobart, Tasmania. You will provide pharmacy services to the community, ensuring that all pharmacy activities are completed to a high standard while supporting the quality use of medicines.

This is a permanent full-time position, working 76 hours per fortnight. Our pharmacy operates from 8:30am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday, and 8:30am to 2:00pm on Saturdays. Shifts for this role will primarily be Monday to Friday, with the occasional Saturday shift as part of a rotation within the team. Part-time applicants will also be considered for this role.
In this role, you’ll:
Step out from behind the counter and fully engage with customers to:
1. Educate and advise customers and staff on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection, and the proper use of medicines
2. Prepare prescriptions in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner
3. Counsel customers on their medication (both prescription and OTC) in an up-to-date, evidence-based manner
4. Collaborate and maintain relationships with local health professionals
5. Have opportunities to advance your practice in the fields of non-sterile Compounding, Vaccination, Oncology and Medicinal Cannabis

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about joining our team and delivering modern, patient-focused pharmacy services. You might be a newly registered pharmacist, or you may have several years of experience and are looking for a change.
You’ll:
16. Be an AHPRA registered pharmacist with previous experience in an Australian based pharmacy.
17. Possess strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).
18. Have a passion for customer care.
