Market leading and growing national civil contracting business with blue chip clients Challenging and varied civil projects on mining sites amongst other projects Can commute locally or most likely FIFO Roster 2:1, excellent pipeline of work Great opportunity to work with a well-established and reputable civil contractor on projects such as civil, roads, earthworks, demolition, excavation, piling, retention, foundations etc. Our client is a well-established and market leading national civil contractor, they are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Project Engineer to join their growing business. Our client provides their services across a number of industry sectors such as building construction, industrial, mining and resources, transport infrastructure, environmental etc. and you will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of a number of challenging projects. Types of projects include build earthworks, roads, demolition, excavation, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation etc. Typical values from smaller up to $50m+. This role is for a project which will be based on a mine site in the Emerald area, the candidate will either live locally or FIFO. Roster will be 2:1. The successful candidate will ideally have experience on civil projects on mining sites or strong civil experience. The candidate will ideally be a Senior Project Engineer who is able to run the site as the Project Manager when the PM is rostered off. Years of experience: 5 to 15 years + Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Planning and scheduling of construction activities Management of site project teams Quality Assurance, Cost and Time Management Preparation of management reports Resolving site issues in a timely manner Liaising with key clients and stakeholders Coordinating internal and external resources Recruitment and mentoring of teams Qualifications and Requirements: Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering or similar 5 – 15+ years’ management experience on civil construction projects.
