An exciting opportunity is available for a full time Supply Manager to join ITM Mining at our Welshpool facility. Offering a competitive salary of $120,000 per annum + superannuation.
Working in a fast paced, team environment you will be responsible for overseeing and analysing ITM Mining's inventory holding with a goal to minimise working capital while ensuring stock is held across both Welshpool and Yatala facilities to maximise sales opportunities. The role will partner with stakeholders across the business to bring continuous improvements to ITM's overall approach to inventory. management.
Roles & responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Inventory Management specifically:
* Prepare and conduct fortnightly stock review meetings for senior management including data preparation, sales for forecast collation and suggested order summary.
* Perform daily inventory analysis to predict potential problems, anticipate future requirements and accurate order quantities.
* Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure movement of obsolete stock
* Creating new items cards and liaising with BPCS team for item transcoding.
* Update item cards with standard vendor costs.
* Perform quarterly reviews of inventory values and ensure stock is being held at NRV or lower of cost.
* Investigate Warehouse discrepancies.
* Oversee stock counts-co-ordinate and manage stock takes across both facilities.
* Master inventory data cleansing.
Purchasing Management specifically;
* Raising and sending purchase orders to vendors
* Amending purchase order pricing/quantities and expected receipt dates
* Follow up and expedite overdue vendor order confirmations
* Source ad-hoc inventory quotations and availabilities
Container/Backorder Management specifically ;
* Obtaining vendor backorder reports
* Updating purchase order expected receipt dates / splitting open purchase order lines to reflect shipped quantities.
* Liaising with warehouse and other teams to ensure requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportation.
* Creating container receipts.
* Updating expected receipt dates based on reports received from freight forwarders.
* Goods receipt of delivered containers.
Reporting requirements specifically:
* Develop and prepare accessible detailed reports that assist with effective decision making for the business.
* Reports include: inventory dashboard to monitor open orders-daily, Stock review file – Weekly, Containers (received / shipped) - Weekly, Orders not shipped – Monthly, Stock turn – Monthly, Vendor avg lead times – Monthly, Freight cost per kg – Monthly, Stock replenishment target vs actual – Monthly, Stock obsolescence – Monthly
About You
* A degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Procurement, preferably a masters.
* Experience with undercarriage components or related mining equipment
* Power BI experience
* Business Central Experience
