A&Co Recruitment partners are proud to be partnering with Centurion, one of Australia’s largest independently owned and operated logistics and transport companies to recruit for their newest relationship driven Key Account Manager. This role is responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key clients, being solution minding whilst ensuring that their transport and logistics needs are met with the highest level of service. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running whilst have a deep understanding of the transport industry, with a proven track record in managing large accounts, driving growth, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. This is a permanent, full time position with a generous remuneration and bonus structure on offer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and ensuring Centurion Transport consistently exceeds their expectations.
* Act as the main point of contact for high-value accounts, providing solutions for their transport and logistics challenges.
* Develop tailored solutions for clients, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our services.
* Collaborate with internal teams (operations, logistics, customer service) to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
* Monitor the performance of key accounts, conducting regular reviews and ensuring KPIs are met.
* Negotiate contracts and pricing with key clients, ensuring profitable agreements.
* Provide regular updates and reports on account performance, growth, and potential issues to senior management.
* Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry innovations to offer proactive solutions to clients.
Qualifications:
* 5-10 years of experience in account management, specifically within the transport or logistics industry. (This is a must!)
* Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business and/ or logistics or extensive industry experience (preferrable)
* Strong knowledge of transport operations, logistics solutions, and supply chain management.
* Proven track record of managing and growing key accounts.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* A proactive, customer-focused approach to account management.
