About The Role
The registered nurse supports excellence in nursing care and patient outcomes, providing contemporary, evidence-based nursing services with clinical competence and capability.
They work in partnership with the multidisciplinary team to provide person- and family-centred, quality, safe patient care, adhering to relevant legislation and the context of care.
Responsibilities:
* Practise independently and interdependently, assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions.
* Demonstrate increasing autonomy and use professional judgement in the clinical environment.
About You
We are seeking a registered nurse who can demonstrate:
* Contemporary clinical knowledge in rural nursing, delivering competent nursing care in complex situations.
* Ability to comprehensively assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, providing patient-centred care within the standard of practice.
* High-level communication skills, engaging effectively with the healthcare team, patients, relatives, and visitors while displaying professional nursing care.
* Ability to build strong relationships and maintain a positive environment within a multidisciplinary team, actively contributing to the learning and development of others.
Mandatory Requirements:
* Vaccination against certain vaccine-preventable diseases as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16.
