About the role
The Early Childhood Worker delivers culturally appropriatequality early childhood education, health and development programsto children using children's first language based on theAbecedarian Approach Australia (3a). The position focuses on theimplementation of a culturally rich environment that includes theuse of Aboriginal languages of children in the centre, games,activities and songs. The program is based on the Early YearsLearning Framework and the Abecedarian Approach Australia (3a).

Responsibilities:
* Contribute to a learning environment to strengthen educatorpractice & continuous improvement to optimise children's learningoutcomes.
* Contribute to child records that document personal and socialgrowth, development, cultural context, learning and interests ofthe child.
* Take part in the preparation and provision of children's foodas required.
Requirements:
* Identifies as an Aboriginal person; recognised and accepted asan Aboriginal person by the Aboriginal Community.
* Passion for early childhood education.
* Current First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain one.
* Current NT Working with Children's Card.
* NT Drivers' licence or ability to obtain one.
* Full immunisation against COVID-19.
Desirable:
* Willing to commence study of a minimum Cert III Qualificationin Child Services or relevant field as recognised by theACECQA.
