Job Description
Our client is seeking dedicated mental health clinicians. These roles are part of a transformative mental health initiative, providing integrated support for individuals experiencing mental health challenges, including co-occurring substance use or addiction. You will predominantly work with individuals aged 25 and over.
Duties of this role will include:
* Providing evidence-based mental health support and care planning
* Working closely with Peer Navigators and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic service delivery
* Conducting assessments, risk evaluations, and safety planning
* Supporting individuals in engaging with health and social care services
* Contributing to service development and improvement initiatives
Criteria
Essential:
* Registration with AHPRA (for Mental Health Nurses, Psychologists, and Occupational Therapists) or AASW (for Social Workers)
* Minimum 6 months of experience in mental health or alcohol and other drug (AOD) settings
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Desirable:
* Experience working with vulnerable or priority populations
* Knowledge of Client Information Management Systems
* Personal lived experience with mental health challenges is valued
