Role Details: Position: Project Contract Manager Location: Sydney (North Sydney office) Type: 12-Month Contract (Potential for extension) Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 2-3 days work from home Start Date: February 2025 Key Responsibilities: As a Project Contract Manager, you’ll oversee the full E2E contract lifecycle, from presales through operational project execution. Your expertise will support the client’s goals of value optimization, risk mitigation, and alignment of customer and supplier contracts. Key areas of focus: Supporting post-contract management processes, including change, risk, and up-sell activities during contract implementation. Leading claim management activities, from analysis to negotiation. Driving the implementation of commercial strategies to maximize contract value. Strengthening client and supplier relationships while ensuring adherence to contract terms and conditions. Key Competencies: Project Management: Strong skills in planning, reporting, and process implementation. Commercial Expertise: Proficiency in cost and profitability analysis, claim management, and contract enforcement. Relationship Building: Excellent customer relationship and stakeholder engagement skills. Contractual Knowledge: Extensive experience negotiating and reviewing terms and conditions in contractual agreements. Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of telecommunications, construction, or IT environments. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 10 years of legal, project, or commercial management experience. Strong background in contract management, risk management, and profitability analysis. Proven ability to drive value capture and minimize value leakage through contract adherence. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional, international teams. Fluent in written and spoken English.
