Senior Advisor (Information Access)

Role Impact & Contribution:
You will provide expert advice, practical and matter management support on a broad range of information access matters on a whole of government basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process and decide applications under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009
* Manage Treasury responses to Standing Orders 52 issued by the Legislative Assembly
Requirements:
* Experience leading information access matters, specifically orders for papers under Standing Order 52 and applications under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009
* Tertiary or postgraduate qualifications in government, political science, law, economics or in a related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience and training
* Sound knowledge of good governance principles
* Ability to acquire technical aptitude in legal and eDiscovery technology solutions
* Demonstrated capacity to learn and adapt quickly, prioritise, remain accountable for, and contextualise solutions
* Knowledge or capacity to scale familiarity of legislation, case law and other precedents in any areas of law administered by the agency and which have an impact on the government
* Proven ability to deliver timely and relevant services collaboratively, inclusively and flexibly in a high-volume complex environment
