Our engineers have extensive experience improving production processes in Manufacturing, Ports & Rail, Resources, Energy and Water Industries all around Australia, with offices in Perth, Wollongong, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney.The rolePPM is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to provide Scheme Management Services for the operation of the Clarence, Penna, and Brighton Recycled Water Schemes. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day management of these schemes, including liaising with customers, managing the supply and demand of recycled water, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislative and environmental requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with our client and recycled water users to optimise operations, address customer concerns, and maintain the highest standards of water resource management. This opportunity is ideal for a professional with a strong background in irrigation scheme management, agricultural science, and recycled water operations, who is ready to deliver exceptional services across these vital multi-user schemes.Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Scheme Manager, you will:Oversee daily operations of the Clarence and Penna Schemes, ensuring smooth water supply and demand management.Liaise with recycled water customers to resolve issues and plan allocations.Monitor compliance with legislative and environmental management plans.Provide professional and technical support for the Brighton Recycled Water Scheme when required.Respond promptly to customer issues and emergencies.What We’re Looking ForExperience managing irrigation or recycled water schemes.Agricultural science expertise and knowledge of recycled water regulations.Proven ability to provide year-round, in-field support, including weekends and after-hours work.Proficiency in using SCADA systems and interpreting operational data.Strong customer service and compliance monitoring skills.DeliverablesMonthly operational management reports.Customer meter readings and compliance assessments.Efficient management of water allocations and storage.Professional and technical advice to customers and PPM.LocationThe role supports operations across the Clarence, Sorell, and Brighton local government areas. Fieldwork and customer engagement will be required year-round.
