The opportunity
Our Finance professionals play a key role in guiding critical business decisions and cutting-edge solutions for the world's leading aerospace company. The work that Boeing does contributes to aviation and aerospace products, technologies and services that make a difference in the lives of people around the world.
We are seeking a Payroll Officer to support our centralised payroll function and perform end to end payroll processing using both Aurion and Peoplesoft.
This role is based in Brisbane.
As a Payroll Officer you will:
1. Running end to end payroll, for 3,500+ across 6 entities
2. Action payroll requests promptly and accurately such as new hires, exits and changes
3. Run fortnightly payroll process, variance checks and reconciliation of EFT
4. Administer setup of new superannuation funds and reconcile payments
5. Reconcile payroll reports fortnightly after each payroll run and monthly
6. Knowledge of relevant legislation
7. Proactively identify opportunities to automate, streamline and simplify payroll processes
Experience/Qualifications
8. Experience in payroll desirable, but not essential
9. Experience in processing end to end pay, desirable
10. Desirable Experience in Aurion or PeopleSoft.
11. Experience with EOFY payroll process, desirable
12. Strong attention to detail and Problem solving, strive for results, process improvement
13. Strong excel skills
14. Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
