The role The newly created role of Senior HR Manager forms part of the leadership team reporting directly in to the CEO. Working as a trusted advisor to the business, you will manage a team of 3 direct reports, looking after the employee life cycle journey with Paraway, contributing to strategy and building a culture of employee engagement. This is a varied and rewarding role, in a business that thrives on a high performance culture. You will enjoy the opportunity to work closely with and influence key stakeholders across a vast geographical area. Some travel will be required. Your responsibilities Employee relations and engagement Recruitment and onboarding Performance and talent management Remuneration and benefits Training and Development HR Reporting and Analytics Compliance and Policy Administration Development and implementation of Diversity and Inclusion initiatives Liaise with key internal departments for related projects or issues arising, such as Finance department regarding payroll, and WHS Manager on Safety Support HR projects About you You are a degree qualified HR professional with over 10 years of professional HR experience. Membership of a professional organisation such as AHRI, will be looked upon favourably. More important than particular industry experience, is your ability to manage stakeholder groups, complex organisational structures and hold your own with senior leaders. You are an excellent communicator, adept at balancing business risks balanced with commercial concerns. Building effective business relationships is what makes you tick and you have a proactive approach to problem solving. From a technical perspective, you bring a well rounded knowledge of critical HR areas such as The Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, and new legislation such as the 'right to disconnect'. You are proficient in data analysis tools, DEI strategies, talent management and remuneration benchmarking.
