Service Stream’s Utilities division are currently seeking a Finance Business Partner - Industrial to join our growing company. In this role you will be responsible for providing accounting and business partnering services across the Industrial Sector, within the Energy & Network Services Business Unit. Nature of position: Permanent, Full-Time Location: Morwell, VIC Reporting Line: Finance Controller Key Responsibilities
1. Drive a culture of optimising business performance at all levels, from contract to Service Stream Corporation.
2. Support and Sustain a high performing finance function, whilst also educating non-finance colleagues
3. Ensure efficient and accurate reporting of the business wide profit / resilience plan initiative, as well as other monthly deliverables.
4. Preparation of financial transactions and/or management reports and statistics reflecting earnings, profits, cash balances and other financial results.
5. Partnering with the business to maintain and increase effectiveness in the application of financial concepts, use of business systems and execution of project controls.
6. Support framework of project profit / resilience plans.
7. Ensure governance in finance people, systems and processes within the region.
8. Manage ad hoc analytical and commercial projects in conjunction with either business operations, senior management, or Finance / Group teams.
9. Consideration of financial, strategic and commercial implications within projects, optimising outcomes for business.
About You
10. Significant experience in a similar role, preferably from a project, construction, asset maintenance or manufacturing industry.
11. Proven track record in the preparation of financial and management reporting, including forecasts and budgets.
12. Strong communication skills and confident in divisional interface with the ability to liaise with multiple operations teams at various levels of management.
13. Ability to manage day-to-day issues and resolve complex problems with a high degree of autonomy and independent judgement.
14. Proactive and flexible approach with the ability to develop new initiatives and streamline processes.
15. Experience in using Jobpac, IFS, Greentree and Jedox (desirable).
16. A recognised degree in accounting.
17. CPA/CA qualified.
