Under the independent ownership of GGCo, our portfolio of venues includes Whistling Kite, Port Kennedy Tavern, The Chase Bar & Bistro, and White Lakes Brewing Co. Following recent renovations to several of our sites and a change in internal company structure, we are seeking a Venue Operations Manager to lead a passionate team of experienced professionals in one of our flagship venues, Whistling Kite in Secret Harbour.
This operations role will provide an opportunity to both lead the team at the venue while influencing the operations in a broader role across the group.
We are looking for an exceptional leader who is passionate about delivering an experience to a variety of different customers. As the venue lead of the Kite, you will be responsible for overseeing the whole venue, its operations, and day-to-day requirements. The broader role will provide you with an opportunity to influence and be involved with the operations and direction of all our venues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ability to create and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
* Communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders from staff to managers, chefs, brewers, sales reps, directors, and our customers.
* Work within financial budgets, meet KPIs, and build sustainable revenue.
* Foster positive team cultures with a solid focus on staff development.
* Strong business acumen including analysis, strategy, and delivery of revenue.
Role Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years experience as a Venue Manager with experience in high volume F&B.
* Experience in +2000 covers a week dining venues.
* Exceptional food and beverage knowledge.
* Flexible availability; this is not Monday to Friday 9 to 5.
* Working knowledge of H&L Sysnet.
