We have an expansive, natural, outdoor space and large indoor learning space, with wonderful resources that support children's curiosity and learning. We have a strong emphasis on supporting and developing relationships between the child, family, staff, and wider community. Our Kindergarten is run by a dedicated Committee of Management and was assessed as Exceeding the National Standards in 2023. The staff team is passionate about the education and care of children and seeks an Administrator to support the Committee of Management and Staff to join the team in 2025. Park Orchards Kindergarten is a child-safe employer.Work Days of the Role: Flexible (minimum 3 days, at the Kindergarten)Hours of Work of the Role: 12Description:We are looking for a highly organised and experienced Kindergarten Administrator to manage the day-to-day operations of our Kindergarten. This role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth administrative processes, effective communication, and compliance with Department of Education funding agreement and other requirements.Key Responsibilities:Oversee operational systems, including enrolments, funding applications, and data reporting using IT platforms.Serve as the key liaison between families, staff, Committee of Management, and external stakeholders (Department of Education, Early Learning Association of Australia).Support the Educational Leader in implementing strategic plans (Quality Improvement Plan, School Readiness Funding Plan).Assist with event planning, grant applications, and maintaining supplier relationships.Qualifications & Experience:Strong understanding of Victorian Early Childhood frameworks and funding.Proven experience in early childhood service delivery and administration.Excellent communication and organisational skills with proficiency in IT-based workflow management.The successful applicant will:Have excellent organisational and communication skills with children, families, staff, Committee of Management, and members of the community.Work collaboratively as part of a team.Demonstrate knowledge of child-safe practice.Conduct themselves at all times in accordance with the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law Act (2010), Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011), Kindergarten policies, and Victorian Kindergarten policy, procedures, and funding criteria.Qualifications:Familiarity with the Early Learning sector will be highly advantageous.
