This project offers the opportunity to shape the future of healthcare delivery, aimed at improving patient care and outcomes.Job DescriptionWe are presently recruiting Registered Nurses to join our team on site at Darwin's Immigration Detention Centre, located on the Darwin Airport precinct.Part of a small, cohesive team of medical professionals, you will provide primary health care to people undergoing immigration supervision.Day to day responsibilities include:Provide the most suitable health services for detaineesEnsure a coordinated approach to health care deliveryUndertake clinical duties such as immunisations, blood collections, wound dressing, health assessments, and medication administrationDeliver efficient, evidence-based chronic disease managementEnsure prudent use of medical supplies and clinical resourcesCollaborate with a wide range of internal/external stakeholdersThese roles will be predominantly afternoon shifts (12.30pm to 8.30pm) with some morning and weekend shifts also rostered.This recruitment is part of a significant government project for HCA.
