Who we're looking for:
Heading up teams of construction workers and sub-contractors the Site Supervisor will assign work, coordinate tasks, and deliver to safety, time, and quality standards. With previous experience working with Tier 1/Tier 2 building/construction companies on mid to large-scale commercial projects you will have hands on understanding of structures, steel, façade, building services, and fit-out finishes.
To be considered for this role you must be prepared to live/work in Geraldton, WA. Generous salary package will be offered.
Your responsibilities:
6. Supervising and coordinating teams to meet project goals
7. Putting together short-term programs of work
8. Staying across your programs, keeping everything on schedule and keeping management up to date
9. Mentoring junior team members
10. Fixing problems and reworking when needed to deliver to our high standards
11. Work closely with sub-contractors and consultants to solve day-to-day construction and design issues.
Your experience and skills:
12. Trade qualification or equivalent experience
13. In-depth knowledge of building and construction Trades
14. Proven site experience on mid to large-scale commercial projects in the Tier 1 or Tier 2 space
15. Knowledge of OH&S legislation, policies and procedures
16. Knowledge of Building Code of Australia
17. Confidence reading drawings
18. A hands-on understanding of structures, steel, finishes, façade, services and fit-out finishes
