Job Title: Civil Engineer Draftsperson
We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil Engineer Draftsperson to join our architectural design team. As a key member, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings for homes, roads, landscapes, commercial buildings, and other structures from architects' sketches.
Main Responsibilities:
* Create precise drawings using CAD software, incorporating exact measurements, calculations, building codes, and construction details.
* Draft plans and detailed drawings for structures, installations, and construction projects, working from sketches or notes.
* Print CAD drawing schematics for use by construction managers, structural, and maintenance engineers.
* Prepare drawings, charts, and records using CAD equipment and conventional drafting techniques.
* Interpret and modify data obtained from topographical surveys, well logs, and geophysical prospecting reports.
* Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and engineering data to ensure conformance to design concepts.
* Collaborate with architects and construction engineers to adhere to building specifications and industry regulations.
* Stay updated on the latest developments and technologies in civil engineering design.
Requirements:
* At least 3 years of experience as a Civil Engineer Draftsperson is preferred.
* Advanced proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
* In-depth knowledge of building design, specifications, codes, and structural analysis.
* Ability to apply sketching and design fundamentals.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
