We are seeking Administration Officers to join our team at Aged Care Assessment - Grampians, a well-regarded aged care assessment organisation. Our purpose is to provide community and hospital based aged care assessment across the Grampians Region.
About the Role
The purpose of this role is to assist with administrative requirements related to assessment services for My Aged Care clients. The Assessment is designed for people who may need entry-level support to help them stay at home or for more complex support related to Home Care Packages, entry into Residential Care, Respite Services and other related services.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support, at the direction of the Team Leader, during the referral and assessment process.
* Liaise with relevant staff regarding acceptance and allocation of referrals.
* Assist assessment delegates with administrative tasks such as printing and sending client letters.
* Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and events.
* Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Minimum 1 years' administration experience within a fast-paced human service working environment.
* Minimum 3 months experience in aged care or aged care needs assessment preferred.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise, and maintain attention to detail.
* Intermediate skills in the use of client and staff information Systems (e.g. MAC, BOSSNet, IBA) highly regarded.
