The role:
You will assist the management accounting function of the business in providing the financial support required for managers to make informed business decisions and to effectively manage their area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivery of regular financial performance monitoring and variance reporting.
* Calculating and maintaining material standards.
* Assisting with preparation of business cases and appraisals.
* Costing of new products.
* Supporting changes to the ERP system.
* Preparation of Monthly CAPEX reporting packages.
* Assistance with drafting major capex dashboards.
* Assisting Project Managers with the financial reporting for their projects, including actual versus budget reporting and monthly Cashflow forecasting.
* Assistance with the preparation of CAPEX Business Cases, including ROI and Payback Period calculations.
* Preparation of monthly reports for the Sanitarium Engineering Division.
* Assisting with preparation of annual financial forecasts and projections.
* Assisting with annual budget preparation to agreed timelines.
* Preparation of monthly CAPEX Depreciation and Cashflow forecasts for Australia and New Zealand.
* Working collaboratively across departments to prepare and assist in reviewing proposals to support management in achieving their objectives.
* Involvement in continuous improvement initiatives.
The Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in business/commerce with a major in accounting.
* Progressing towards CPA, CA, or equivalent professional status would be advantageous.
* A minimum of 1-year commercial experience in FMCG would be ideal.
* Intermediate to advanced spread sheeting (MS Excel) abilities.
* Strong customer focus and team orientation.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
