This person will be responsible for conducting and coordinating internal audits across our Employment Service contracts and will provide reports and feedback to supervisors and service managers.
You will be required to maintain a high level of knowledge of the department contracts, guidelines and bulletins.
Success in this role will be achieved by combining your knowledge and experience with your superior systems thinking and ability to balance compliance with efficient business practice.
About the Role...
This role will require you to: Conduct and coordinate internal audits and document appropriately Assist with external audits and monitoring visits Conduct audits in line with audit schedules Communicate positively and promptly to implement required changes arising from monitoring and audits Analyse processes and systems and implement improvements when required Ensure practice meets contract obligations and changing requirements Conduct spot checks and desktop audits to ensure adherence of claims, subsidies and guidelines Processing employment fund and wage subsidy claims Identify and report regularly on areas requiring further support and training Provide support and assistance to staff with technical enquiries Maintain current knowledge of contract guidelines and bulletins Ensure accurate, appropriate and timely data collection to assist with informed decision making About you.... To be successful in this exciting and rewarding role you will have the following skills and experience: Understanding of employment services, training, and/or disability services operating environment Demonstrated knowledge of employment services contract guidelines (not a requirement but an advantage) Experience working in a compliance driven environment (policies, processes, systems and programs) Demonstrated experience of compliance improvements through auditing Strength in balancing compliance with efficient business practices and the ability to use data and information to inform decision making Experience navigating Government and 3rd party software programs Strong communication skills to develop productive relationships with internal and external partnerships Well-developed business acumen and ability to use data and information to inform decision making Have a current Drivers Licence and willingness to travel on occasion About us....
