Seeking a Piling Foreman/Supervisor for a Sydney-based project with experience in self-performing CFA & bored piles on various infrastructure projects About the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced Piling Foreman / Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in piling and ground improvement projects for key civil structures such as bridges, retaining walls, and earth embankments (e.g., cofferdams). You will be responsible for managing crews involved in installing various piling systems, including deep soil mixed columns, bored piles, CFA, secant, and sheet piles. Key Responsibilities: Ensure all quality assurance standards are met on-site. Enforce strict adherence to OH&S procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Manage and lead both in-house and subcontracted teams, ensuring smooth operation of daily piling activities. Oversee the installation of various piling techniques such as CFA, secant, and displacement piles. Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure project timelines and goals are met. Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a positive and educational work environment. Requirements: Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Piling Foreman/Supervisor within the civil infrastructure sector. Strong background in the delivery of civil works, particularly piling and ground improvements. Thorough knowledge of Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental compliance standards. Proven experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with teams and management.
