About the Division
The Information Management and Technology Division (IMTD) guides the Departments' digital capability and is leading digital transformation for the Department including Victorian government schools. The Division architects, manages and supports the largest technology network in Victoria, supporting a user base of approximately 750,000 staff and students.
IMTD provides innovation and leadership in the transformation and management of the Department's digital capability through the implementation of solutions on the department's cloud environment (IaaS), enterprise cloud platforms (PaaS) and software (SaaS), using agile practices with a focus on user experience, security, and integration.
About the Role
A fantastic opportunity is available for a Branch and Administrative Support Officer to support the Director of Information Management Services Branch.
The Branch and Administrative Support Officer will provide administrative support to the Director by performing duties including email and calendar management, arranging and scheduling appointments and meetings, travel, accommodation and event organization, and general tasks as they arise.
This is a diverse, hands-on role which requires a high level of professionalism and discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive correspondence and other information, strong interpersonal skills, energy, and attention to detail. The role manages relationships, on behalf of the Directors, with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Attributes
As our ideal candidate, you will have:
Superb communication and stakeholder engagement capability. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and take initiative. Strong skills in the use of Microsoft products, including Visio and PowerPoint, and the ability to quickly learn other software products. Desirable Qualifications and Experience
