As part of this growth, there is an immediate requirement for a Manager, IT Program Resourcing to join the Information Technology & Digital Services team. The Manager, IT Program Resourcing is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimising resource allocation across all ITDS projects, ensuring effective utilisation of personnel and alignment with project priorities. This role oversees resource capacity, forecasting needs, and balancing workload distribution to support the successful delivery of strategic initiatives and business-as-usual (BAU) activities. Working closely with Project Managers, team leads, ITDS SLT members, the ITDS Senior Administration Officer, the IT Budget & Forecast Analyst, and the Office for People, the Manager, IT Program Resourcing ensures proactive and efficient resource planning that aligns with Western Sydney University's goals, maximises team performance, and adheres to resource acquisition processes. Additionally, this role supports ITDS operations and support teams in managing resource impacts from project-driven changes. Key Duties Plan, coordinate, and optimise resource allocation across multiple projects. Develop and implement resource allocation strategies that prioritise critical projects. Perform detailed resource forecasting to support project scheduling and anticipate upcoming needs. Work with Project Managers and team leads to continuously assess resource demand. Balance workload distribution across teams to optimise productivity. Develop and maintain resource utilisation reports, delivering real-time visibility on resource allocation, availability, and project assignments. Present resource allocation reports and forecasts. In order to be successfully shortlisted for the role, we are seeking experienced IT resource demand professionals who possess the following skills and capabilities: Extensive experience in resource allocation, capacity planning, and workload management across a diverse portfolio of projects. Strong skills in resource forecasting and balancing. Skilled in managing relationships with external vendors. Strong financial acumen to monitor resource costs and support budget alignment. Proficient in developing resource utilisation reports, analysing data for trends, and presenting insights.
