Our dedicated and driven service department team are seeking a motivated and reliable technician to join our growing field technician team. Our ideal candidate is a technical thinker with the ability to problem solve and deliver quality workmanship. The successful candidate will work on a variety of jobs both individually and as part of a team. While servicing and repairs will make up the vast majority of jobs, other tasks will include, site measures, installation of fuel, oil & adblue equipment, service vehicle stock management, collection and distribution of parts and materials, as well as assisting the team with large or complex installations. Key responsibilities: Advising customers on the best servicing and repair solutions.Fault finding, repairing and servicing of Lubrication and Refuelling Equipment.Representing the company in a professional, friendly and courteous manner.Working independently while using initiative and following instructions. Duties: Scheduled servicing and maintenance.Lubrication & Refuelling Equipment repairs.Installation and servicing of Lubrication & Refuelling Equipment.Completing job related forms and updating service vehicle inventory.Installation assistance.Attend meetings and training at our Melbourne Head Office as required. Requirements: Current unencumbered driver's licence.Well presented, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals.Ability to consistently follow workflow systems and procedures.Competent working with tools.Physically fit and capable of manual labour.Country travel and overnight stay overs. Preferred: Demonstrated experience in a similar service technician or installer role.Experience in the fuel equipment maintenance/repair &/or Workshop Installation.Preferred trade or trade assistant background.Electrical qualification will be considered advantageous.Current white card holder.
