About the Role:We're seeking an experienced Inventory Controller for our Carole Park facility. This position is crucial to managing stock levels. Working closely with both Australian and US production and operations teams, you'll play a key role in upholding our core values of Unwavering Excellence, Integrity, Dependability, and Care. A 9-day fortnight option is available to support your work-life balance. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Accuracy: Ensure accurate records and resolve discrepancies.Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels to meet production needs and minimise costs.Performance Analysis: Track key metrics (turns, stockouts) and identify improvement opportunities.Process Improvement: Participate in initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma to optimize inventory flow.Cycle Counts: Coordinate regular cycle counts at each inventory holding location.Annual Stock Taking: Coordinate annual physical counts in all branchesBOM Management: Manage the creation and maintenance of all BOM's.Safety & Compliance: Adhere to safety, environmental, and quality standards. What We're Looking For: Experience in inventory management.Knowledge of inventory costs and how to balance them effectively (e.g., carrying, ordering, and shortage costs).Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., Cin 7, NetSuite, Business Central) and cycle counting methods, such as ABC or random sampling.Strong analytical skills, including familiarity with techniques like Pareto analysis to address inventory discrepancies.Ability to create clear, detailed procedures and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.Understanding of inventory classification and lead time demand to ensure effective stock management.Formal qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.3+ years of experience in inventory management.
