About the Role: We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Officer to provide comprehensive support to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the broader DTS team.
As a key point of contact for administrative operations, you will play an integral role in ensuring efficiency across the department.
This role is ideal for an experienced administrator who excels in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with senior leadership, and can manage multiple priorities with ease.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position until July 2026, covering parental leave.
It presents a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience within a large, innovative organisation while contributing to the success of Curtin's digital transformation.
Your responsibilities will include: Provide executive-level administrative support to the CIO, including managing schedules, travel, and expenses.
Coordinate meetings and events, ensuring seamless execution.
Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation for senior leadership.
Act as a key liaison between DTS and other university departments, including Human Resources, Finance, and Properties.
Support IT projects and initiatives by overseeing administrative tasks and documentation.
Manage budget administration, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely reporting.
Who we are looking for: Strong administrative experience within a fast-paced environment.
Previous executive administration experience is highly desirable.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Experience in coordinating travel, events, and meeting logistics is desirable.
A proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate needs and work independently.
Role Requirements: Full working rights in Australia.
On-site position, therefore successful candidates must currently be living and/or have confirmed relocation to Perth, WA.
