Analysis & Reporting (Mining, Resources & Energy) Full Time This Senior/Lead Supply Chain Specialist role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and execute pre and post-award lifecycle for key procurement packages in close relationship with clients and within the Project Supply Chain team. You'll collaborate closely with Engineering and Construction teams, develop tender preparations, negotiate contract/PO terms, and drive cost and schedule efficiencies. This role calls for a strong relationship with our clients, experienced commercial and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to lead and evaluate suppliers' performance, manage contract variations, while upholding Kent's standards and procedures. Strong, experienced logistics and material management understanding will see you guide the material control team to execute their duties at Project sites. Day to Day, your role will include: Expedite and understand the Scope of Works from Engineering and Construction Departments, and prepare the Tender Pack / Request for Tender for issuance to market in line with Kent and Client's Procedures and Processes as applicable. Perform expediting of Technical and Commercial Queries and Clarifications with the market and Project Engineering and Construction. Review bidder responses and prepare and evaluate commercial bids in line with procedures. Assist with the prequalification of suppliers and subcontractors in developing Project Approved Supplier Lists (ASL). Develop Recommendation for Awards (RFA) to client based on commercial evaluations of packages and supporting documentation, and manage recommendation process with the client. Finalise Subcontracts off templates, and draw-up Package Purchase Orders for approvals, and manage the issuance and acceptance with recommended subcontractor/supplier. Assist Project Expediting Team with queries and schedule updates of your assigned Packages (non-material and material deliverables) with subcontractors/suppliers. Own and present Procurement Status Reports (PSR) for presentation to client and Project leaders to identify and manage package status, and change/variation management. Provide leadership and mentoring, leveraging your experience, to your Project Supply Chain team members (pre-award, post-award, material/warehouse control & logistics). About you:Our future colleague will have at least 5 years of experience and a demonstrated skillset with tender/RFQ Process within an EPC/CM Projects Supply Chain environment. You will have attention to detail and be comfortable with fast pace and confident in reporting and working with client representatives. A strong understanding of ERP systems beneficial.
