About the team Retail Ready Operations Australia (RROA) is the first Coles owned retail ready meat facility.Based at Erskine Park, our site is highly automated, sophisticated and equipped to global best practice.We have a strong focus on team member safety, quality and continuous improvement whilst ensuring that customers' security of supply, quality, availability of product and value for money expectations are met.Our facility is fully integrated into the Coles sourcing, production, and logistics and stores' network. About the role As a Production Planning Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our large-scale production facility.You will be responsible for developing and implementing production plans, managing inventory levels, and optimising resource allocation for a 24/7 operation. You will also: Develop and implement efficient production plans to meet customer demand and optimize resource allocation to ensure efficient and cost-effective production across multiple shifts Lead and mentor a team of 3 production planners to achieve their goals and develop their skills Forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of products Define resource plans, analyse capital requirements, and define solutions to enable growth and the needs of a dynamic operation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise production processes and identify opportunities for improvement Analyse data and metrics to identify trends, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions Develop and implement continuity plans and mitigation strategies for anticipated disruptions and risks About you and your skills You'll have: Proven experience within operation planning processes within a highly complex, high volume manufacturing environment Previous leadership experience Ability to develop creative solutions to meet business needs Demonstrated experience with complex problem solving Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills Take your next step into something bigger, apply now.
