We are seeking a Procurement Officer to join our project in Hobart, Tasmania.
As a Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for:
Identifying supply needs with internal stakeholders, Sourcing potential vendors, Comparing and evaluating offers, Negotiating contractual terms, prices, services, and lead times, Placing purchase orders, and Ensuring compliance with the procurement process. Key Accountabilities Include:
Maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, Processing purchase orders through internal software as required, Maintaining an up-to-date Purchasing Schedule, Ensuring that the Purchase Requests for day-to-day requirements are handled by the Purchasing Clerks in due time and with appropriate supporting documentation.
