Job Description
We're looking for a Porter/Valet who will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests upon arrival and departure, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience.
This role requires a passion for service, attention to detail, and a commitment to creating moments of connection, ensuring every interaction feels personal and enriching.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
* Greet guests upon arrival, offering a warm welcome and assisting with luggage, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience.
* Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to provide accurate information and recommendations to guests.
* Provide support to residents in the residences tower with any requests or services as needed, including luggage handling and other personalized assistance.
* Arrange transportation (e.g., taxi cab, shuttle bus) for guests/residents/visitors, and record advance transportation requests as needed.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a guest services or valet role preferred, but not required.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Knowledge of the Gold Coast region, including local attractions, restaurants, events, and cultural landmarks preferred, but not required.
* Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English. Additional knowledge of international and local languages is appreciated but not mandated.
* Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor with a positive attitude.
* Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Current driver's license – Manual is preferred.
* Must have full Australian Working Rights.
